GET TICKETS →Test Coast started with something we felt was missing: a conference where people could build real relationships, try things for themselves and leave with more than notes from a stage.
We wanted a place where conversations mattered as much as presentations. A place where you could meet people properly, discuss ideas openly and actually try new tools, techniques and ways of working — not just hear about them from a distance.
At the same time, we wanted Test Coast to connect the local testing community in Gothenburg and the Nordics with inspiration from around the world. Local knowledge and global perspectives belong in the same room.
We are not standing outside the testing community looking in. We are part of it. We travel to conferences around the world, sometimes on stage and sometimes in the audience. We learn, exchange ideas, meet new people and bring those experiences home with us.
Test Coast grew out of those experiences. It is our way of creating the kind of conference we ourselves love to attend — an arena where knowledge, curiosity and relationships can continue to grow.
The coast is more than a location. It is an idea. Testing has always been about exploring the unknown: moving into new territory, asking questions and finding out what is really there.
That spirit fits the Swedish west coast perfectly. Sweden is famously an island-rich country, and the coast around Gothenburg is a landscape made for exploration — thousands of islands, open water and new horizons in every direction.
Now we are celebrating five years of Test Coast. Speakers have travelled from near and far to inspire us, and participants have done the same — bringing their own experiences, questions and perspectives into the room.
Over those years, talks have sparked conversations, workshops have turned ideas into practice and new connections have grown into professional networks and lasting friendships. That is the Test Coast we hoped to create from the beginning.
